Plastic Travel Cribbage Set w/ Playing Cards, c.1970s

Glitzy, some-might-even-say-kitschy-but-I-say-glam, red plastic travel cribbage set, made c.1970s, with a deck of cards that I have contributed that seems to me to be appropriate but that probably dates a little later. [The cards that came with it were not original and were a wreck]. There is a space for the cards in the center of the board, surrounded by the plastic streets, and the 4 custom metal pegs live in a hole at the top of the board. A clear plastic top protects the board, and keeps the pegs from falling out. The board measures approximately 4.9” from top to bottom by 3.8” from side to side, and is about 1.1” thick.

The board and pegs are in excellent condition. The cards I have contributed were made by Hoyle, Trump brand, and are still in the wrapper. The plastic cover to the set is clouded and has a significant crack; however, while this crack mars the appearance of the item when the plastic cover is on, it does not prevent the cover from doing its job, and the cover fits securely over the top of the item.
