This platter is a large impressive size. The length is about 16 3/4 inches with a width of 12 3/4 inches. It is in very good condition with a few light utensil marks received during it's long life. It is marked on the back with a shield and BWM&C and Cauldon England. Brown Westhead Moore is the Staffordshire maker who later became Royal Cauldon pottery. This platter dates to the period between 1862 & 1904.
