Stretch your imagination a bit and wearing this necklace is almost like wearing a Hawaiian lei. An asymmetrical Hawaiian lei. The beautiful artisan lampwork beads are done in tropical pinks, oranges and yellows with touches of purple and green, just like those big hibiscus flowers that swell on the trees at this time of year. They are large (about 15 - 16mm) and showy, and you could almost say they're delicious looking. I've complemented them with another set of lampwork beads which are glass encased squares of color in coral and lilac shades.
Between the lampwork beads I've stationed "belly drilled" (ouch!) cultured freshwater pearls in a soft white along with ceramic rounds from Greece that have been dipped in molten sterling silver. Pretty, white 6 - 7mm cultured freshwater pearls take the piece upwards on each side where they connect to a marquise-link sterling silver-filled chain.
At just about 25 inches in length this necklace will slip over your head, but if you'd like a clasp just say the word. Length is adjustable, too, longer or shorter, if you'd like. It makes a lovely choker, too, if that's what you'd prefer.
Ships via priority mail and arrives in a be-ribboned presentation gift box.
A great look for summer, as well as a great piece for cruisewear!
