c1920 Vienna Bronze and Ivory Figures, ORIGINAL PAIR!
A spectacular pair of Vienna bronzes dating to the early 20th century. This rare set depicts a couple, dressed in elaborate, flowing clothing accented with bows. Both are made with solid bronze and the heads are hand carved from ivory. They sit on nicely grained marble bases. The bottom of the gentleman's base still contains the original "Made in Austria" label. The statues have a beautiful, dark patina that has been left intact. Don't miss out on this rare find!
Condition: Excellent condition. The woman is slightly loose on the base, but this can be fixed by tightening the screw that holds her to the base.
Measurements: Each are about 5 in. high with the base (4 ¼ in. without). The bases measure about 2 ½ in. long x 2 in. deep.
