LARGE Dieppe Carved Ivory Figure, 19th c. French RARE

This very fine ivory carving was made in Dieppe, France in the mid-late 19th century (ca. 1870). The wonderfully hand carved figurine depicts an aristocratic man, wearing a Napoleonic hat, fine clothes, an overcoat, and playing a mandolin. He stands on a nicely turned ivory stand. A great, quality piece. Check out our other European ivory!
