From Gladding, McBean & Co., this very nice, vintage American back-stamped dinnerware dates from the 1961 Franciscan "Apple" pattern produced line and all pieces are original to the same set. Retaining its brilliant colors of rich red, brown and green on a cream background is this beautiful set of dinnerware. Deep red apples stand out among the beautiful green leaves and brown vines that encircle each dinner piece that gives this dinnerware such enticing appeal. All 39 pieces have a beautiful shine to them as if they have been barely used!
The dinnerware set has 6 5-piece place settings which include: 6- 10 5/8" dinner plates, 6- 7 7/8" salad plates, 6- 6 1/4" bread and butter plates, 6- 2 3/4" cups & saucers. These place settings are in very good condition with no chips with the exception of 1 dinner plate having a slight crazed line. There are 8 serving pieces that include: 1- 8 ½" large vegetable bowl, 1- 7 5/8" small vegetable bowl, 1- 14" meat platter, 1- table creamer, 1- sugar bowl with apple finial lid, and 1- 10 1/4" celery or relish dish. Even included in the serving pieces are these 2" salt and pepper shakers that are simply adorable. All of these serving pieces are shiny all around and are also in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
The weight for these pieces is very large, approximately 40 lbs, and will be shipped two boxes for safest handling. The shipping price is fixed and also includes insurance. Be sure to email with any shipping questions!
