Terrific Vintage Russian 14K Rose Gold Diamond Emerald Ring
It's a beautiful Russian made piece that dates to 1950-60. The design is a floral motif with impeccable attention to detailing.
Typically Russian, the gold is 14K rose gold; all of the sparkling white diamonds are set in white gold, with fine millegrain edging. To one side is a small square cut emerald, a nice addition/contrast to the diamonds.
All the diamonds are beautiful quality. The top stone, set slightly raised in a lovely buttercup setting, is the largest at approx. 0.20 points; the other diamonds are about 0.12-0.15 points total weight. I'm not sure of diamond grading, but these are all excellent stones, likely G colour.
Ring head is about 5/8" tall and weight is 3.1 grams. Size is approx. 7&3/4.
Excellent condition. No damage, no missing stones. The inner band is stamped "583" (Russian equivalent of 14K gold), and the outside of the rear band is also marked with a serial number, maker's mark sick and hammer stamp, and 593.
Excellent condition.
