Vintage 60s Wang 360E Calculator Novelty Silvertone Tie Clasp

An absolutely must-have addition to any collection of geek jewelry, this vintage late 60s silvertone novelty tie clasp depicts a Wang 360E calculator, complete with function keyboard and signature 10 digit screen.

Wang Laboratories was at the forefront of the calculator market from the mid-60s through the early 70s, when founder Dr. An Wang shifted the company's focus to word processors and computers. The 360E was introduced in 1967, in Wang's second line of caculators.

Measuring 1 ½" wide, the clasp is stamped "Wang" on the lower left front edge (photo #). There is no manufacturer's mark, and it is tempting to speculate whether the company itself made this as a promotional (or commemorative) item.

Excellent condition.
