Vintage 50s Atomic Silvertone & Ice Blue Rhinestone Starburst Brooch

Wonderful vintage 50s atomic starburst brooch features icy pale blue rhinestone-tipped sprays and scrolls of silvertone metal, with a circular arrangement of larger rhinestones nestled in the center. All three sizes of the chaton cut rhinestones are prongset.

Beautifully made, the brooch's riveted, layered construction gives it visual punch as well as real presence, though its feather weight makes it a suitable candidate for pinning to everything from a jacket lapel to the thinner fabric of a blouse.

Measuring 2 5/8" tall and also 2 5/8" across, the brooch has no maker mark. It is in excellent condition, with the stones intact and sparkling and the metal finish (which I believe to be rhodium-plate) bright.
