Vintage midcentury sterling silver charm bracelet features a wonderful collection of charms, most with a Western or gambling theme and many with a novelty and/or mechanical twist. There are 13 charms in all, nine of them marked sterling (two of them from Beau Sterling), and five of which have moving parts.
The 9 sterling charms are: Three enamel-accented playing cards, a fabulous Beau Sterling slot machine (movable handle and "slots"), a pair of scissors (mechanical), a sheriff's badge with the name "Todd" on it, a church, a bull, ice tongs (with lucite "ice cube"), a wishing well (also Beau Sterling, with swinging bucket). and a balky calf.
The 4 remaining (unmarked) charms are: A beer stein, a pistol with mother-of-pearl handle and revolving cylinder, a pump with handle that turns, and a carousel (this charm has been crushed)
The bracelet measures 7" long and weighs 43 grams. In addition to the marks on individual charms, the spring ring clasp is signed "Sterling". The jump ring at the opposite end (also signed) appears to be a modern addition. With the exception of the crushed charm, the bracelet is in excellent condition.
