Vintage 50s "Ancient Armor" Red Rayon Satin Wide Tie

Fabulous vintage early 50s rayon satin wide tie features bold medieval helmet and shield designs in black, silver, and yellow, on a tonally jacquarded deep red ground. As was common with neckwear of the time, the tie’s design name—“Ancient Armor”—is printed on the reverse of the large blade.

Tipped in champagne satin, the tie has no labels of any kind and measures 51 ½” long and 4” across the blade. Excellent, apparently unworn condition.
