Vintage 1950s Hattie Carnegie Cherry Silk Ottoman Coat XS/S

The simple but expert cut of this vintage 1950s evening or dress coat from Hattie Carnegie is rendered in a lustrous cherry silk ottoman. Featuring a slightly swingy shape with round-lapelled notch collar, large self fabric buttons, three-quarter length sleeves, and front on-seam pockets, the coat is fully lined in red satin.

Label reads "Hattie Carnegie"; measurements are bust 36", shoulders 15 ½", waist 40", hips 42", sleeves 18", and length 41".

Very good , professionally cleaned condition, but unfortunately with darkening to the silk of the buttons, which the owner may wish to replace.
