Deadstock 1940s Post-WWII Paris Silk Souvenir Handkerchief Hankie

Deadstock with the original store tag still attached, this vintage 1940s cream silk handkerchief from the Galeries Lafayette would have been an affordable souvenir for a soldier stationed in Paris at the end of the war to bring home to his family or sweetheart.

It features sepia-like printed orange pictures of five famous Paris sights--the Opera, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Basilica of Montmartre and the Cathedral of Notre Dame.

Measuring 11” square, this textile piece of history is in excellent, unworn condition.
