Vintage 800 Engraved Compact - Italy

Magnificent engraving on this vintage 800 silver Italian compact. The work is perfection - tight and glorious! Same pattern on both sides.

Compact measures 3"square with a depth of approx. 1/2". Marked 800 with makers mark that includes initials G F.

No dings or dents. Opens and closes with ease and stays shut. Original powder fabric cover. The mirror has a small piece missing in the lower left corner. Mirror frame comes out and mirror can be replaced but I would leave it as is. We all have defects - I have wrinkles, how about you?
