Antique MAJOLICA Pitcher - 6-1/2" high

Soft colors with brown tree bark hand. Inside is pale pink glaze. There is a crack - not weak - that runs vertical alongside the handle. You can see it inside also. I honestly didn't see it when I acquired it but that wouldn't have stopped me. Majolica is a soft pottery that was used everyday and prone to chips and cracks.

I have been buying Majolica for decades and I rarely pass on a piece if it has slight damage or wear. The beauty of Majolica in my estimation far exceeds the wear or lack of perfection.
