Vintage Handmade Embroidered Long KASHMIR Wool Hostess Robe/Coat

A series of lovely hand made pink embroidered "cap" style buttons run partially down the front. Sleeves and skirt are full - skirt very flowing and elegant. All the seams and hems are hand finished. The embroidery is not done by machine like newer Kashmir but by hand. Each stitch is tiny and precise. A work of art - it is wonderful just to look at but to wear - oh la la! A show stopper. Wear it with a cami and leggings and high sexy shoes -ready for the red carpet!

The only thing I could find wrong is a tiny moth hole near the hem line. I had to hold the robe up to the light to see it. It can be patched, sewn up or left as is. Frankly I am surprised that there is only one little hole. No fading, stains or orders. Looks barely worn if at all. Colors are bright and vibrant against the inky black wool.

Sizes: Flat on table and approx. Shoulder width - 15" Waist (front) 15-1/2"; back on waist from side to side seams approx. 19" Sleeve length - 23-1/2" Bust: 19" - I used dart line as reference point. Back neck seam to waist seam - 16" Skirt - waist seam to bottom - 40".

Surprisingly it fit me with a little room. On the hanger it looks smaller than I thought. I am a full size 6 (whatever that means) and not very busty- if larger in the bust area it would fit. I tried it on over a skimpy T-shirt. There are seams everywhere so it can be altered.
