Antique Engraved Birmingham Sterling Case-Hallmarked

Gorgeous case - hallmarked, Birmingham sterling with initials J.G. Attributed to John Gilbert according to my research. Marks on both sides of inside of case. Richly engraved with an ornate pattern on front and back. No initials in medallion on the front. Weighs 60gr. Opens and closes easily - latch is tight. Approx. 3.25" x 2.5" x .5".

Excellent antique condition. No dings or dents. A real beauty.
