Petite German Bisque Head Doll

This 8 inch tall doll, circa the late 19th or early 20th century, has a German bisque head and a five piece composition body jointed at the shoulders and hips. The legs end in molded and painted black shoes with heels and straps. The head has an open mouth with teeth, glass set eyes, and the original mohair wig. The head is incised on the back of the neck with the number 183. It has no chips, cracks, or repairs except for a small flake in the neck socket. I love the outfit on this little doll. She wears a brown plaid cotton dress and matching bonnet both adorned with white pleated trim along with white eyelet pantaloons.
