New Brunswick Cloth Doll Pair
These sweet cloth dolls, circa the mid 20th century, have cotton cloth hand painted faces. They wear detailed wool and wool yarn knitted clothing. The bodies are cloth covered over a wire armature that allows them to be posed. Both dolls are in excellent clean condition. The man is 7 inches tall and the woman is 6 1/2 inches tall. They come from New Brunswick, Canada, with Acadian ancestry. I adore these little dolls. Joan and I even use a pair of New Brunswick dolls as our shop logo.
