Goo-Goo Eye Composition Doll by Ralph A. Freundlich
This 16 inch tall doll, circa the 1930s, has a composition flange neck head and a cloth body. She was created by the New York City firm of Ralph A. Freundlich. The doll is in very good condition with a closed mouth and exaggerated round disk googly eyes. She wears her original cotton print outfit with wooden shoes. The composition head has no repaint or repair. There is minor crazing and a few small chips on the composition on the top of the head. I love this doll's chubby cheeks and great character appeal.
