This tin metal shoulder head, circa the late 19th or early 20th century, has molded and painted hair and facial features. The head was manufactured in Germany by firm of Buschow and Beck. It is marked on the front of the shoulder plate with the helmet mark and the name Minerva. On the back of the shoulder plate, "Germany" is embossed. The head is in excellent condition with very little paint loss and no repaint. The head is 5 ¾ inches in height and measures 3 ¾ inches from shoulder to shoulder.
