This 24 inch tall bebe, circa the 1880s-1890s, was created by the French firm of Jumeau. She has a bisque socket head with a closed mouth, absolutely beautiful blue paper weight eyes, and pierced ears. She retains her original brunette human hair wig with cork pate. The original finish composition body is in very good condition. The back of the head bears the red stamp stating, "Depose//Tete Jumeau//11." The head has no chips, cracks, or repairs. Bebe Jumeau wears her original cotton flower print dress with antique white cotton underclothing. The antique brown leather shoes are embossed "Paris" on the soles. This doll has the most amazing creamy bisque and striking face. She is an especially wonderful and eyes will mesmerize any doll collector.
