This pair of dolls, circa the 1920s-30s, is created from black cotton cloth. The faces are molded and the facial features are embroidered. The original clothing is cotton. She is 8 inches tall and he is 8 ½ inches tall. She retains her original black base while his is missing. The dolls are in good clean sturdy condition. The man is missing some elements of his white beard, part of his stick cane, and his black base. The two dolls are such a wonderful example of American folk art. I hope someone finds them as charming as I do.
