Cream of Wheat Rastus Cloth Advertising Doll
This 18 inch cloth doll, circa the 1920s, was an advertising doll for Cream of Wheat. It originally would have arrived to the home seamstress in the form of a sheet of fabric. The cut and sew doll would then have been created by the consumer. This doll is in good condition with some age discoloration to the fabric. There is one split in the seam where the left leg is attached to the torso. This could easily be stitched closed but I am leaving that to the new owner.
