This13 inch tall doll is just so wonderful. I believe she is from the late 1800s or early 1900s. She and her babies have nuts for heads with painted facial features. The arms are stuffed cloth and the body is created from, what I believe to be, broomcorn sorghum tassels tied together at the waist of the doll. The doll is in good sturdy clean condition with some age discoloration to the clothing fabric. What a great piece of folk art Americana this doll is!
