27" (69 cm.) hard-pressed stockinette face with painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes with white eyedots, grey eye shadow, closed bow-shaped lips, blonde mohair curly wig, muslin slender elongated body with jointing at shoulders and hips. She is wearing her original pink felt and organdy colonial style gown with matching bonnet, felt applique flowers at waist, organdy undergarments. Excellent condition, few tiny mends in gown and tiny moth "bites", slight fading to be expected due to age. She has the face and style of the French felt dolls made to compete with Lenci. My guess is that she was made by Poupee Nicette. Circa 1920s. From a non-smoking environment with no odors.
