16" Vintage Japanese "Ichimatsu" child doll in original costume

This traditional Ichimatsu child doll has a paper mache socket head, black enamel inset eyes, very pale "gofun" original complexion, closed mouth, delicately-painted features, black human hair wig with red tint, carton torso with original wrapped paper cover, composition hands and lower legs and feet. Her right hand is broken off at the fingers as shown, otherwise excellent condition. She has the wooden rod that would attach into a base, but the base is missing. Japan, Ichimatsu, first-half 20th century. She wears her original colorful, multi-layered traditional costume.
