This little pair of children illustrates the difference when porcelain is glazed or unglazed. The unglazed girl's arms are away and the glazed are touching her body - evidently a result of the difference in processing. The unglazed doll's painting is full and high contrast. They both have up-do hair with curls. I think they would make an interesting addition to a half-doll collection. No chips, cracks or restorations. Circa 1900.
