Exceptional, old and heavy are really the best words to start off the description of this Squash Blossom Necklace. The cast sterling silver Naja has a gorgeous turquoise stone with black matrix and flecks of pyrite. It has wonderful detail and measures 2 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches high. There are 14 extra large Squash Blossoms with hand chased line detail. They measure 1/2 of an inch wide by 1 inch long, not counting the part that is strung through the foxtail. There are 71 large 13mm handmade bench beads and each one has hand incised decorative lines on the top and bottom. Very unusual! The entire necklace measures 27 inches long and weighs an astounding 253 grams, that's over 9 ounces! This is just a wonderful old Squash that would be a centerpiece of any collection. It is in excellent condition and tests for sterling silver
