Antique Royal Worcester Blush Ivory Cream and Sugar - 1888

This gorgeous 19th C Royal Worcester Blush Ivory Cream and Sugar set is ready to grace your 21st C table. The bowls are fluted and ridged like delicate sea shells with a lovely scalloped edge, the creamer handle is reminiscent of a coral branch, and the lip of the creamer opens with a graceful flourish like a sea anemone. Royal Worcester has, of course, often used seashells as inspiration.

CONDITION is wonderful with no chips, cracks, or repairs that I can find. The gold gilding is in terrific shape as well. The creamer measures 5 3/8" handle to spout and 3 1/2" tall at the spout. The open sugar measures 2 5/8" at the tallest and 4 3/8" long. The mark dates this set precisely to 1888.

At 125 years old, it's really remarkable that this set is in such good condition. I can only imagine that a succession of delighted owners have loved it, treasured it, cared for it. Now it's your turn. Enjoy!
