Bronze Dachshund Dog Sculpture
This little Dachshund boy has the classic good looks of the Dachshund breed, intelligent eyes, deep chest, large paws, and a long muscular body. His figure is modeled with great skill and beautifully cast in bronze with a deep reddish brown patina that is very close to the natural coloring of many dachshunds.
CONDITION is grand, this is a beautiful bronze. A former owner has applied green felt pads to his feet so he won't scratch your fine furniture, of course these can be removed if you choose. Unsigned. Measures 10 1/4" nose to tail, and 6 7/8" tall at the nose, and being solid bronze, quite heavy.
You won't have to walk him, you won't have to feed him, and he's already housebroken. What more could you ask? How much is that doggie in the window? Priceless. Enjoy!
