Angels Greeting The Baby Jesus in The Manger - Oil on Canvas Board
This painting is signed by the listed artist M. Cooper. It comes from the estate of a collector of greeting cards and original greeting card art, so this beautiful image was likely chosen to be reproduced on a card, although I am not certain of this. Suffice it to say that this is a beautiful, skillfully done piece of original art that will bring you joy for years to come.
CONDITION is lovely. The painting is framed in a gold leaf wooden frame that shows expected wear and old touchups, but has NOT been painted with gold paint. The label on the back dust cover is from a Pennsylvania frame shop. Measures 16 1/2" x 20 3/4" overall and 14 7/8" x 19" sight size.
In an increasingly commercialized world, this painting is a lovely reminder of the real meaning of Christmas. Enjoy!
