A primo pair of period Art Deco cufflinks with a fantastically 'moderne' look... very Mid Century... quite prescient in design. Perfectly restrained and elegantly changeable in aspect as the geometric patterning of grooves and facets plays with the light as you move.
Condition is as good as you would hope, no problems to report. Hallmarked for Chester with two 9ct gold marks, "9" and "375". The fourth mark in the row is the date mark, which I think is the script "h" used in 1932 - 1933. The makers mark is H. G & S which I believe to be the mark of Henry Griffiths & Son of Birmingham and Leamington. Each plaque measures 11/16" x 13/32".
These beautiful links are perfect for the well turned cuff of any modern lady or gent. They will take you from the board room on to dinner, and even out dancing if that's on the schedule. Treat yourself or someone special.
Your cufflinks will arrive suitably boxed for gifting.
