Micro Mosaic hand mirror depicting flowers, Italy 19th century

This is an antique Micro Mosaic hand mirror. The entire item is encrusted with small tesserae which are smooth to the touch and in perfect condition. There are neither breaks nor tesserae missing. The Micro Mosaic is depicting blue and white flowers on a white and a turquoise ground. a Beautiful beveled mirror is inlaid and the Micro Mosaic is set in a fine crafted brass mounting. The mirror can also be hung on the wall. The hand mirror is dated at the 19th century. Length: 9.1"(23cm) Width: 3.9"(10cm)
