Antique brass tryptich of Our Lady of Lourdes ,France 19th century
This is a beautiful Tryptich of " Our Lady of Lourdes". The tryptich is made of brass which is outside beautifully adorned. Inside there are beautiful engravings on silver . In the middle there is the Holy Virgin with Saint Bernadette Soubirious and beneath the city of Lourdes. There are the words engraved: or lady of lourdes the immaculate conception
On the sides there is the history of the Marian apparition written.The tryptich is in perfect condition and dated at the 19th century.It´s origin is France.

History : The Marian apparitions of "Our Lady of Lourdes" began on 11th February 1858. Bernadette Souberious , a peasant girl who saw the Holy Virgin in the cave of Massabielle, near Lourdes was canonized as a saint.
