An antique Italian carved gilt wood mirror frame, 19th century
This is a fine crafted gilt wood mirror frame, fine and detailed carved with rocaille, c-scrolls and foliage and surmounted by a leaf carved cresting. The frame is partly painted with light green colour. The cartouche shaped plate is covered with red cloth. The frame is in perfect condition and dated at the first half of the 19th century.
