Glass frog by Archimede Seguso (1909-1999) dated at about 1970
This is a Murano glass frog made by Archimede Seguso (1909-1999). The glass body is of finest quality banded with pink, red,yellow, green and blue. The frog has a very expressive face with protruding eyes. On the bottom the figure has the engraved mark: "Archimede Seguso, Murano"
Height: 7.1"(18cm) Width: 4.27"(12cm)
This frog is a beautiful example for the always inventive art of this famous Venetian master glass maker. It is a very interesting item for collectors.
