A fantastic French Art Deco original published in a 1916 French magazine, dated and signed G. K. Benda.
Georges Kugelmann Benda (1883-1954) an artist living in Paris in the early 20th Century is known for his posters, particularly his world famous: "Mistinguett" a portrait of the legendary Music Hall Star.

The piece is printed on a slightly glossy paper, with another image printed at the back.
Art Deco is usually considered an Art movement of the 1920s, and you will notice from the artwork date, how Avantgarde Benda was!
The piece shows the dancer Isadora, another legend of the time, wearing an extravagant costume, complete with white feathers and gray leggings.
She appears with big doe's eyes on a tiled stage, holding a bunch of grapes in her hand.
The magnificent Art Deco curtains and her cute skater's dress, also have grapes motifs on them.
A starry night is revealed in the background.
The colors are a harmony of blues, gray, white and yellow.
