Circa 1860-1880, a delicate open work Napoleon III pin with an exquisite motif of shamrocks and Fleur de Lis.
The shamrock theme is not only in the central figural piece, but also in the ornate motifs, and even in the shape of the pin itself!
The shamrock is reputed to bring good luck in France.
As often in the jewelry of the time, there is a contrast of metal colors: here the piece alternates gilded and silvered parts.
The pin has a "C" clasp at the back.
CONDITION: In very good condition. No damage. Closes well.
Will be shipped "Registered" from Paris, including online tracking (US, Canada, Europe) insurance and signature at delivery.
