Not a reproduction! but the real thing: an authentic 1930s French watercolor of the majestic Eiffel Tower, overlooking the Palais de Chaillot on the hill, the bridge over the river Seine, and far away to the left, on another hill, the Sacre Coeur of Montmartre.
The panoramic view of the piece, its large size, its fresh colors, its Art Deco style and slightly naive rendering, are all to die for!
The artwork is signed Jean Regnault at the back, and was included in an Art contest of the time.
You will love every detail of it!
The little guys under the Eiffel Tower, an area cluttered today with tourists' stuff, but which, interestingly, was completely empty then.
The equestrian statues on the bridge, the typical Paris buildings to the left, above the trees, and the cute French flag on top of the Tower, which has since been replaced by television antennas.
For the lovers of Paris, a small and authentic treasure of the Art Deco era, which will bring elegance and cheerfulness to any decor.
