Antique French Silver Bottle Holder or Stand Wine Champagne or Water
An antique silver plate carafe or bottle holder. The raised double stand holds 6 bottles or carafes. Perfect for a wine tasting or any party menu served buffet style. Raised Rococo style feet and trim around the edges and all six openings include acanthus leaves and flowers. Fine French hotels used similar serving pieces in their restaurants. I have only seen a few of these stands in Paris and they had not weathered time well. This stand is in very good condition and has been re-plated.
