Antique English treen shoe snuff box with brass studded pique work. The small brass studs cover the front of the square toe shoe and outline the heel. The top lid slides easily to open or close. Popular with collectors; the shoe shaped boxes are found in a variety of materials including wood and papier mache.

Condition report; very good, chip to the left sole along with several small dents to heel, normal for age and use.
