Grand Scale French Silver Dinner Knives by Puiforcat Set of Twelve

Large in scale, this set of twelve French sterling silver knives weighs an impressive 1038 grams. Created by one of the most recognized French silversmiths, Emile Puiforcat. Measuring just under 10" long; this is one of two sets of dinner knives by Puiforcat that I listed today. The set is monogrammed with the initials "AR". The other set which is a full 10 inches in length is monogrammed with "RB"; however, the "R" is the prominent initial.

French; bearing the punch for .950 silver as denoted by the French Minerve mark with the number #1 (just to the right of the forehead) and the maker's punch for Emile Puiforcat.

Condition report; very good antique condition. Surface scratches and ding in accordance with age and use. One knife has a larger ding. Some blades do show darkening which is common for older steel blades. These may or may not be replacements; however, they are not recent.

Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail or Fedex with signature required for delivery.
