Antique French Silver & Crystal Decanter & Twelve Cordial/Shot Cups

An antique French sterling silver and crystal liquor decanter with twelve shot cups or cordial glasses with gilt interiors. A fine quality set in very good condition. Two glasses have a few larger dents and I was not going to include them in the set. But twelve is better than ten, so I will include them.

A stunning before or after dinner presentation. The set is shown on a large French silver plateau that I will be listing soon.

French, Circa 1905, bearing marks for French sterling silver of .950 quality as denoted by the Minerve 1st. Titre mark and the makers punch for Charles Barrier 7 Rue Réaumur Paris (1905-1923).

Measurements; decanter 8” high, 2.75” in diameter; cups 1.5” tall X 1.4” in diameter. Weight for cups 122 grams approx. Decanter 314 grams approx.

Condition report; very good, decanter has one ding as shown, no chips or cracks, cups good condition, with minor dings, gilt very good condition, 2 cups have a few deeper dents but are included to bring the set to a full 12.
