An antique English sterling silver inkwell oval in shape with pierced work and cast foliate edges. Resting on four cast feet with two round glass ink pots, inkwell bears marks for the assay town of London. A lovely example of fine English silver from the Edwardian Era.
English, 1902 marks include, Lion Passant for sterling silver, Leopard's head for assay town of London, date letter g for 1902, and makers mark, GJ over DF in a shield for George Maudsley Jackson & David Landsborough Fullerton.
Measurements; 10 1/2" long X 4" wide, approx weight 458
Condition; very good a few small surfaces scratches in accordance with age and use.
