Antique Sterling Silver Table Bell London Import 1895 Victorian
A sterling silver table bell bearing English marks for import for the year 1895. The bell is embossed with foliate and scroll work and has a cartouche on each side. They are blank and offer ample room for your own monogram. A turned wood handle on the top of the bell is in very good condition along with the clapper.
Continental silver, marks are quite rubbed. English marks are clear; Lion Passant for sterling silver, Leopard's head for London, date letter for 1895.
Measurements; 5 1/4" high, approx 90 grams, no marks found on the clapper
Condition; very good, surface scratches in accordance with age and use, small dent on top near wood handle and on one cartouche.
