Antique French Silver & Horn Knives Set of Twelve 9 1/2"

ON LAYAWAY FOR ANGELA An antique set of twelve French silver and horn knives. Handsome mottled horn handles in shades of deep mahogany to golden brown are accented with ferrules and caps of silver. Flowing Rococo inspired shell and foliate motifs on the silver complement the sleek horn handles.

Horn, Mother of Pearl, ebony, and ivory handled knives are fine complements for sterling flatware and offer the opportunity to create different table settings with your sterling. Personally, I like my menu to reflect my choice. Such as seared duck breast served with my horn handled knives; or large sea scallops with my Mother of Pearl handled knives.

French, Circa 1900

Measurements; 9 1/2"

Condition; very good, the horn is in very good to excellent condition for the age, one tiny chip, no large cracks, silver very good condition. Newer blades, very good condition
