Puiforcat French Silver; Set of four matching sterling silver serving trays with restrained Rococo motifs. Simply stunning and ever so hard to find; the set of four offer a wide range of possibilities for use.
Solid in weight; each tray weighs 410 grams, for a total of approximately 1640 grams total or 52 troy oz. The raised edges bear scrolling acanthus leaves and foliage.

Each tray measures 10" by 6". They are marked with the Minerva 1st. Standard mark for .950 sterling silver and Puiforcat on the reverse side. The maker's mark is on the inside edge of one raised edge. Due to the location, it is difficult to get a clear picture of the mark. The set does have surface scratches in accordance with age and use. One has a few larger scratches and a ding. The scratches could be professionally buffed out if desired.
