Art Deco Slip Shade Ceiling Light Fixture with Parrots
This is a slip shade ceiling light fixture made by Lincoln Manufacturing in the 1920s. The light fixture is aluminum with a polychrome finish. The 2 glass slip shades have fired-on paint and feature parrots; the shades are almost perfect and appear to have had very little use. The light fixture hangs 12" from the ceiling; the canopy is oval-shaped, measuring 12" x 6 1/2". The polychrome colors are not as bright as pictured but have been enhanced by the flash.
