Kerosene Oil Lamp - Turkey Foot Pattern
This is a circa 1890, kerosene oil lamp made by the U.S. Glass Co. The pattern is called 'Turkey Foot' although it has also been identified as 'Plume'. The lamp is pictured in Thuro's first book on page 319. The lamp is 8 1/2" to the top of the collar; the base diameter measures 4 3/4". It is 16" to the top of the old glass chimney. The burner is an older ABCO #1. The lamp has some roughness to the top of the border surrounding the base as pictured, but no chips or cracks to the bottom of the base or elsewhere on the lamp.
